From the Classroom to the Showroom: Porsche Carlsbad Welcomes the Next Generation of Automotive Pros
This month, Porsche Carlsbad opened its doors to students from Vista High School's auto shop class as part of the Hoehn Cares SPARK Initiative.

This visit gave students a behind-the-scenes look at the wide range of careers behind running a Porsche Center. The day began with a welcome from Adrienne Hoehn, who shared the history of Hoehn Motors and Porsche Carlsbad, giving students an inside look at the business and leadership side of running a Porsche Center. From there, the students stepped onto the shop floor to meet our service team and discover what it takes to become a Porsche-certified technician.
Throughout the tour, the students got a well-rounded look at the day-to-day of running a dealership by talking with representatives from different roles. Service advisors spoke about the power of clear communication; sales team members shared their passion for the brand and the relationships they build with customers; the parts team discussed the critical role they play at the parts counter and behind the scenes; and managers offered insights into daily operations and what it means to lead a team.
The Hoehn Cares SPARK program, introduced by Hoehn Motors President, Bill Hoehn, aims to help local students explore vocational opportunities and prepare them for a changing workforce. We aim to "SPARK" imagination and engagement in their education. We loved welcoming the next generation of automotive pros and look forward to welcoming more students in the future.
